According to information provided by ISU Gorj, a fire broke out at the Stâmba Jiu Monastery, affecting the roof of a monastic cell. The flames are spreading over an area of approximately 250 square meters. Five fire trucks equipped with water and foam are intervening on site to control the fire. Firefighters have confirmed that there are no recorded casualties as a result of the incident. The intervention is ongoing, and authorities continue to monitor the situation to prevent the spread of the fire.
