Fire at a warehouse in Chiajna: Firefighters intervened with 15 fire engines to extinguish it.

The firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire at a warehouse on Comerțului Street in Chiajna, Ilfov, which was manifesting with open flames at the roof level.

At the scene, 15 fire-fighting vehicles with water and foam, two intervention and rescue vehicles for heights, the Special Rescue Detachment, one robot transport vehicle, one rescue vehicle, and two SMURD teams were mobilized. The fire was localized over an area of approximately 450 square meters, and the firefighters managed to enter the interior of the warehouse, finding that the fire was not manifesting there. Authorities confirmed that there is no danger of spreading to neighboring warehouses and no victims were identified. The teams continue the work of removing the roof covering and extinguishing the fire.
