The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) has issued a warning regarding cyber attacks in which ANAF is impersonated to steal data and money. Users receive messages promising 'tax refunds', but these lead to fraudulent pages designed to obtain personal and banking information. Attackers use names like 'ANAF RO' and addresses similar to official ones to deceive victims.
Once users access the links in the messages or emails received, they are invited to enter their personal identification number, phone number, and card details, information that can be used for unauthorized transactions. DNSC recommends that users carefully check the sender of the messages, avoid accessing suspicious links, and not provide personal data through insecure forms. In case someone has provided sensitive information, it is essential to contact the bank immediately. Any attempt at fraud can be reported on the DNSC platform.
