Deputy Florin Roman announced the conclusion of the debates in the parliamentary committees on the Nordis law, aimed at protecting good faith buyers from unscrupulous real estate developers. The law limits the advances that developers can request: 15% upon signing the sales promise, 25% upon completion of the structural framework, and 25% upon completion of the installation works. The advance amounts will be deposited into a separate account, usable only with the approval of the site manager.
Additionally, each apartment will have a distinct operating certificate, thus preventing the sale of additional units through partitioning tricks. Roman emphasized that this law responds to the promises made to the citizens of Alba, especially those affected by the NORDIS scandal. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu announced that he will request the inclusion of the law on the agenda, emphasizing that the majority of the initiators are from PSD.
