PSD Deputy Natalia Intotero announced the submission of a bill in Parliament aimed at protecting the property rights of individuals affected by disasters such as explosions or earthquakes. The project emphasizes that Romanians who lose their homes as a result of these calamities should not also lose their status as property owners. Among the proposed measures are the provision of compensation at the real value of the properties, payment of these within a reasonable timeframe, and the obligation of the Government to quickly ensure the necessary funds.

Additionally, municipalities will be responsible for the reconstruction of affected properties, including connection to utilities, within a maximum of one year. Until the completion of the works, municipalities will cover the accommodation expenses of the affected individuals. The project underscores the state's commitment to providing concrete and rapid solutions in support of citizens affected by tragedies.
