On Wednesday, the Chamber of Deputies unanimously approved the project known as the 'Nordis law', which aims to change the rules in the Romanian real estate market. All 301 present deputies voted for the adoption of this law, which introduces strict limits on the amounts that real estate developers can request as a down payment from buyers. This measure is intended to protect consumers and ensure transparency in real estate transactions, thus facilitating access to housing for citizens. The 'Nordis' law represents an important step in regulating the real estate sector in Romania.
