Antonescu underlined the importance of Romania's NATO membership and the need to prepare for the allocation of 3% of GDP to defense. He pointed to the example of Poland, which allocates over 4% of GDP to the defense sector, and suggested that Romania should examine all possibilities to involve the US in an economic project in the area.
