The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that ALTIMATE S.A. has won the bid for the implementation of an electronic toll collection system for the direction from Romania of the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge, with a value of 844,500 lei (excluding VAT).

The project includes the setup of two dedicated lanes, equipped with high-speed barriers, which will allow rapid access through the identification of payments made online.

The purpose of this system is to reduce waiting times at the Giurgiu Border Crossing Point (PTF) and to increase traffic safety.

The contract will be signed within 10 days, if there are no challenges, and the implementation of the system will take 6 months.
