CNAIR announces that it has resolved the main technical issues affecting the TollRo platform, launched on October 1, 2026, for the Electronic Road Tolling System. Online card payments have been stabilized, the platform’s capacity has been expanded, and account confirmation emails are now being delivered more consistently.
The interventions were carried out after the platform was accessed by approximately four million visitors and authenticated users. Around 50,000 users and 170,000 vehicles were registered in the system. During the first 12 hours, more than 45,000 route tickets were issued, over 60,000 payments were made, and more than 13,000 electronic wallet top-ups were completed.
CNAIR notes that the high volume of access generated short periods of unavailability and affected the processing of some transactions through EuPlătesc. The payment issue has been resolved, and the platform can now handle higher traffic. The email flow was modified and rerouted after some messages were filtered by service providers.
Intermittent communication issues with RAR and DGPCI’s external systems, which are needed to issue toll products and verify vehicles, remain under monitoring.
