The TollRo platform is experiencing temporary technical issues, and specialist teams are working to resolve them, the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR) announced on Thursday.
CNAIR announces that users who were unable to pay the TollRo fee due to the technical issues will not be penalized. According to the company, the measure applies for the period during which the platform or the automated control means are not functioning properly. Under these circumstances, vehicles that had an active OBE onboard unit, an open charging session in the mobile application, or a valid route ticket at the time the malfunction occurred are not considered to be in a non-payment situation.
The TollRo fee corresponding to the affected period may be calculated later, based on the information available in the system. CNAIR specifies that users will not incur additional costs as a result of the technical incident.
The company is required to ensure the system's operation under failure conditions and to inform the public about the malfunction and the period during which it occurs. The notices are published on the CNAIR website and in the mobile application.
CNAIR did not specify when the issue would be fully resolved, limiting itself to announcing that technical interventions are underway.
