The technical issues that affected the TollRo platform on Friday morning, October 9, have been resolved, the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration announced. Users who were unable to pay the fee during the period when the system was not functioning will not be penalized.
CNAIR specified that vehicles with an active OBE device, a tolling session started in the mobile app, or a valid route ticket will not be recorded as being in a non-payment situation. The fee corresponding to the affected period will be determined later, based on the data available in the system, with no additional costs for users.
The platform also experienced malfunctions at the beginning of the month, after the TollRo system was launched on October 1. CNAIR announced at the time that the issues had been resolved, but warned that sporadic incidents could occur. The company is obliged to ensure the system operates under failure conditions and to inform users about any interruptions.
TollRo can be paid by purchasing a ticket for a route in advance or by starting a tolling session in the mobile app.
