The National Railway Company 'CFR' S.A. announced that, from April 20, 2026, 08:00 – May 29, 2026, Quick Wins works will take place on line 100 Bucharest – Videle, to eliminate speed restrictions and restore the technical parameters of the railway superstructure. The works will be carried out between kilometers 2+490 and 3+200, involving the replacement of some elements of the superstructure.

Train traffic will be temporarily closed on track I between the stations Bucharest North and Bucharesti Noi, as well as on track III between Bucharest North and Chitila. Rail traffic will be reorganized on track II between Bucharesti Noi and Bucharest North, and on tracks I and II between Bucharest North and Chitila, according to operational directives. In the first days, trains will run at a reduced speed of 30 km/h, with the limit to be increased to 50 km/h.

The modifications will affect the routes and stops of certain trains, which will run on track II, having stops at stations such as Bucharest Triaj Depot, Pajura, Carpați, or Bucharest Basarab.
