The thermal energy company announced the suspension of hot water in Bucharest to repair the damages that occurred in the heating network, affecting hundreds of buildings in a heat of 30 degrees Celsius. The repair work will last until Friday, June 12, and in some areas, the timeline for returning to normal is undefined. Among the affected sectors are Sector 1, with multiple thermal points, and Sector 2, where services have been suspended for dozens of buildings. Additionally, in Sector 3 and Sector 4, the situation is similar, with buildings affected in various areas. Authorities have published a detailed list of the affected properties and estimates for the resumption of hot water service, but many residents are facing discomfort due to the lack of hot water in extreme heat conditions.
