The leader of the AUR senators, Petrișor Peiu, announced on Monday that the party’s lawmakers will not vote to invest the Government led by Prime Minister-designate Luca Niculescu. Among the reasons cited are the way the Executive was formed, which Peiu considers undemocratic, as well as the need to clarify the appointment of the prime minister-designate’s brother to a management position at CFR Călători.
The AUR leader also criticized the activity of several ministers from the former Bolojan Government, whom he accuses of making decisions regarding taxation and pensions, as well as the size of the Executive, which consists of 18 ministers. Peiu also described the governing program as a “story with false content,” comparing it to that of the Ciolacu Government.
