A study conducted by Storia shows that, in the last 3 years, the accessibility of housing varies significantly in Romania. In Constanța, housing has become 7% more accessible, requiring 6.3 net average annual salaries for a studio, due to an increase in the average salary by 42%. In contrast, in Sibiu County, accessibility has decreased by almost 13%, now requiring 5.4 net average annual salaries for a studio, following a 39% increase in prices.
Bucharest and Ilfov are the most accessible, with 4.3 net average annual salaries for a studio, while Cluj remains the least accessible, with 7.1 salaries. Increases in housing prices have been observed in all major cities, but the correlation with average salaries has led to variations in accessibility.
