Representatives of the Federation of Forestry Unions Silva are protesting in front of the Ministry of Environment, demanding an end to the reorganization of Romsilva, considered dangerous for forests and jobs. The proposed project would reduce the number of forestry directorates from 41 to 12 and drastically cut the number of directors, which could affect forest management. Trade unionists are calling for a working group to draw up a regulation to strengthen Romsilva instead of destroying it.
