Camelia Voinea, a gymnastics coach, responded to allegations of abuse against her daughter, Sabrina Voinea, stating that the images presented are from 10 years ago and were used to blackmail her by the former leadership of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation (FRG). In a video message, Sabrina defends her mother, emphasizing that the images were already presented to the FRG leadership two years ago and that she was never coerced or abused.

Camelia Voinea acknowledges that, like any coach, she can have moments of frustration, but she rejects allegations of physical or verbal abuse, stating that these moments do not affect the mother-daughter relationship. She emphasizes that gymnastics is an endurance sport that involves sacrifices and hard work. Voinea reserves the right to defend her image in court and promises that she will not give in to challenges, continuing to work alongside her daughter to achieve performance in gymnastics.
