The decision of the Central Electoral Commission to exclude the party 'Inima Moldovei', led by Irina Vlah, from the electoral race was made based on a ruling by the Chișinău Court of Appeal, which found illegal financing. The party will face bans for 12 months, including participation in elections and organizing protests. Irina Vlah's accounts are frozen due to sanctions imposed by Canada. The Patriotic Bloc, of which she is a part, must withdraw the excluded candidates within 24 hours.
