Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of cooperation for a secure European future. Discussions focused on projects to improve the lives of citizens on both sides of the Prut and to counter external interference. Romania is Moldova's main trading partner, with thousands of Romanian companies active in the country. Mr. Bolojan also announced the establishment of coordinated border control at the Galati-Giurgiulesti border, underlining the commitment to build new ties between the two nations.
