The Audiovisual Council fined 12 TV stations 68,000 lei for violations in the coverage of the parliamentary elections on September 28.

The largest penalties were for TV-Găgăuzia and TVC 21, the latter having the highest number of electoral materials broadcasted. TV9, although unamended, received a warning for irregularities. The Patriotic Electoral Bloc was the most publicized, followed by PAS and the Alternative Bloc.
