Realitatea Puls and Romania TV were sanctioned by CNA for broadcasting false statements by the Minister of Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, who stated that "it's a matter of time until we have peace" at the NATO forum. The two television stations transformed this statement into "it's a matter of time until we see war." Ionuț Moșteanu reported to CNA, emphasizing that his statements were distorted and that he decided to act against this "fake news." The editorial director of Realitatea Plus explained that it was a presentation error, but CNA members pointed out that the confusion persisted for two days. In contrast, the program director of Romania TV argued that it was not a mistake, claiming that the minister's statement was complex and was broadcast correctly.
