On Tuesday, the Parliament validated the Board of Administration of the Romanian Television Society (SRTv), but the meeting was marked by a scandal generated by AUR parliamentarians. They accused abuses and demanded the report be sent back to the Culture Committees, dissatisfied that they received only one of the eight available seats for parliamentary groups. After their request was rejected, AUR left the meeting in protest, carrying placards with the inscription "PSD and USR, the thieves from TVR". The vote was secret, recording 270 votes "for" and four "against", without AUR's votes. George Simion, the leader of AUR, announced that the party filed a criminal complaint for abuse of office, emphasizing that the political algorithm and the weight of parliamentary groups were not respected. The validation of the Board was completed in the absence of AUR parliamentarians, and the meeting was chaired by the President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean.
