Drone crashed in the Republic of Moldova: An aircraft was discovered in the village of Chiștelnița just 100 meters from a residence

A drone that had fallen to the ground was discovered in the village of Chiștelnița, Telenești District, Republic of Moldova, up to 100 meters from a residence. A local resident alerted the Police, and law enforcement officers intervened and cordoned off the area to prevent any potential risks. So far, no casualties have been reported.

Police officers are maintaining security in the area, while specialists from the Police Technical and Explosives Division are traveling to the scene to examine the aircraft and establish the circumstances in which it reached the ground.

For now, the authorities have not established the drone’s origin or when it crashed. The checks are expected to clarify whether the aircraft poses risks to the population and whether the incident is connected to other similar events in the region.

The Police recommends that citizens not approach the drone, touch it, or handle any fragments or suspicious objects. Local residents are advised to keep their distance and avoid the area until the investigation is complete.
