Iulian Lorincz, USR deputy, stated that the Romanian Parliament has the responsibility to adopt the remaining milestones from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) in an extraordinary session, considering that the Government cannot issue emergency ordinances. Lorincz emphasized that USR parliamentarians are ready to actively participate in these meetings, either physically or in a hybrid format, even though the holiday season is approaching.
He mentioned that, over time, there has been a consensus between USR and PSD on major projects, including PNRR, but criticized the opposition of some parties regarding the unified salary law. Regarding the formation of a new Government, Lorincz stated that President Nicușor Dan has to choose between two options, highlighting the importance of selecting a person who understands European mechanisms.
