The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, announced the convening of a new extraordinary session in Parliament, scheduled between August 24 and 26.

This will be the third session in August and aims to debate and vote on essential reforms from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

Among the most important laws on the agenda is the Hydrogen Law, which is crucial for attracting 2.84 billion euros from European funds. The Hydrogen Law, referred to as Milestone 126, is an integral part of the necessary reforms for the approval of Payment Request number 5 from the PNRR, recently submitted.

The deadline for adopting these reforms is August 31, and this session could be the last opportunity for Romania to obtain essential European funds.
