Tánczos Barna, the interim deputy prime minister and UDMR senator, stated that currently no option can be excluded for the formation of the future government, emphasizing the importance of quickly establishing a fully empowered executive.
Tánczos Barna declared that negotiations for the formation of the new Government will intensify towards the end of August, as the current situation, in which some government decisions are "suspended in court," cannot continue. He criticized the need to convene Parliament for the approval of support measures for farmers, emphasizing that such measures are already being implemented in other member states of the European Union.
Tánczos Barna states that all scenarios regarding the formation of the Government "remain on the table," estimating that the new Government could be invested in the last week of August or, at the latest, in the first week of September.
Regarding the position of prime minister, he stated that the names of Siegfried Mureșan and Sorin Grindeanu remain under discussion, without confirming support for either of the two.
