The ICCJ will organize a general assembly to discuss the possible challenge of the draft law regarding the pensions of magistrates at the CCR. The Minister of Justice, Radu Marinescu, believes that the law has a chance to remain constitutional. The project, part of the Government's austerity package, introduces an increase in the retirement age to 65 years and limits the pension amount to 70% of the last net salary.
