The Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna stated that the tense international situation should prompt the parties in the governmental coalition to reflect on the political stability in Romania. He emphasized that a political crisis is the last thing the country needs at this moment, considering the external challenges.

Tanczos referred to the threats from some political leaders to leave the government, reminding that UDMR has faced such situations before, but did not announce their departure seven months in advance. The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted that UDMR seeks compromise and dialogue, as demonstrated during the budget debate. He suggested that Romania should wait for a stabilization of the international situation before making major political decisions.
