During the meeting, Mr. Bolojan and Attorney General Alex Florin Florența discussed reforms in the judicial system, in particular the reform of magistrates' pensions. Among the proposals discussed were raising the retirement age and adjusting the formula for calculating pensions to ensure the sustainability of the justice system. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of predictable salaries and working conditions for magistrates, given the high caseload. The draft law also aims to limit service pensions to 70% of net income, given budgetary realities.
