The hearings of the 16 ministers proposed by Siegfried Mureșan to form the new Government begin on Monday, September 28, and end on Tuesday. The candidates must receive the approval of the parliamentary committees before the investiture vote scheduled for Wednesday at 13:00, in the joint plenary session of Parliament.

Siegfried Mureșan sent the proposed ministers letters outlining the priorities and objectives for their term, asking them to be active and closely monitor the Government's activity. The committees' approval is advisory.

The Government, supported by PNL, USR and UDMR, needs 233 votes to be invested, but the three formations together control approximately 170 seats. PSD and AUR have announced that they will not vote in favor of the proposed cabinet.
