The referendum proposal comes in the context in which the general mayor of Bucharest, Nicușor Dan, plans to organize a local referendum on the same day as the first round of the presidential elections. Marcel Ciolacu underlined that he supports the organization of the referendum, but it is important that it is in accordance with the law.
