Kelemen Hunor, president of UDMR: "Congratulations, George Simion, you made a statement today!"

In the context of the joint plenary session, the president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, stated that George Simion is the only winner of the day, in the context of the vote for the Veștea government.

Hunor emphasized that an important period in Romania's history is coming to an end, which began after the December Revolution, and highlighted the signals of the end of an era, including the cancellation of the presidential elections in December 2024. He warned against the trivialization of evil in politics and stressed that a small country must rely on principles and values to survive.

Hunor mentioned that UDMR will not participate in the vote, choosing to leave the room.
