The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that his party does not support the liberal Siegfried Mureșan for the position of prime minister, claiming that he is "a smaller Bolojan."
Grindeanu emphasized that Ilie Bolojan did not understand that he is prime minister with the votes of PSD and criticized his behavior, mentioning that PNL came in third place in the elections. The PSD leader accused the government led by Bolojan of bankrupt economic measures, which have led to a deterioration of living conditions for Romanians.
Furthermore, Grindeanu expressed the opinion that USR should remain in Opposition and not be part of a future governing coalition.
He mentioned that, although he could agree to a government of truce, he will not support a candidacy that does not bring real changes.
