Dragoș Pîslaru, the interim minister of Investments and European Projects, stated that he could be part of a technocratic government led by Alexandru Nazare, provided there is a principle agreement from Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. Pîslaru emphasized the importance of finalizing the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and mentioned that a change of government could affect Romania's credibility.
He was brought into the current government by Bolojan and believes it is essential to consult with him before making a decision. Pîslaru ruled out the possibility of joining a government that would not have Bolojan's support and mentioned that he would not accept to be part of a government that includes AUR. Interim Prime Minister Bolojan confirmed that the option of a technocratic government is being discussed, but warned that such an Executive would face difficulties without solid political support in Parliament.
