Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Sector 6, declared on Facebook that he will not withdraw from the race for the Capital City Hall, contradicting recent information. He emphasized that these rumors do not come from USR and considers them false news meant to discredit him in front of the electorate. Ciucu accused an unidentified source of manipulation, which would like to place him in third place in public perception, to pressure him to withdraw in favor of Drulă. He expressed the desire to have an electoral campaign based on fair competition, visions, and solutions, and called for a civilized debate among candidates.
