The PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall rejected the accusations made by Cătălin Drulă and Vlad Voiculescu, who claim that PNL manipulates opinion polls. Ciucu explained that the Inscop poll, contested by USR, is not conducted by his party and emphasized that USR has its own sociological research, which is not made public. He stated that PNL has decided to collaborate only with trusted polling institutes to avoid manipulating the results. The PNL leader, Ilie Bolojan, also addressed the issue of debts to polling houses, explaining that the party has paid part of these debts but decided to penalize companies that did not deliver accurate results. The recently published Inscop poll shows that Ciucu leads with 27.1%, followed by Daniel Băluță with 24%. Criticism from USR continues, with Voiculescu accusing Inscop of delivering favorable results for PNL, while Drulă called for an open debate, contesting the methods used by Ciucu.
