The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) declared that the solution for overcoming the political crisis in Romania is the organization of early elections. In a statement, AUR criticized the appointment of Adrian Veștea for the formation of the new Government, emphasizing that this was done without the support of a political party, which contributes to the intensification of the current crisis.
The formation highlighted that the principle of separation of powers in the state requires that the Legislature not be subordinate to the Presidency. AUR stated that, in the case of a political deadlock, the constitutional solution is to return to the people through early elections. Additionally, AUR emphasized the importance of consensus, dialogue, and hope in the current context, reaffirming its loyalty to its supporters and rejecting the idea of 'personal regimes' in the state.
