Dan Dungaciu, first vice-president of AUR, stated that the party has not yet decided on Călin Georgescu's candidacy for the position of prime minister in the event of the Bolojan government falling. Dungaciu emphasized that AUR will not support a government led by PSD and that the party's objective is to organize early elections to overcome the current political crisis.
He argued that early elections could lead to the formation of a more stable coalition, composed of only two parties, AUR and PNL, instead of four, as is the current situation. If the desired early elections do not take place, AUR could accept to participate in a government, but only with a prime minister chosen by them and with their own government program, refusing to support a PSD government.
