Alexandru Rafila considers the management of the COVID pandemic and investments in hospitals as the most important achievements of his mandate as Health Minister

In a recent broadcast, Alexandru Rafila highlighted the accomplishments of his tenure, starting with managing the COVID pandemic, which was a major challenge. Since taking office in November 2021, Rafila has implemented a different approach, opening 230 outpatient clinics. He also cited progress in hospital investments, including unlocking the NRRP, which was initially unclear and included many ineligible counties. Rafila has carried out the renovation of 2,500 family doctor's offices and signed 24 financing contracts for health projects.
