The president of PNL Iași, Alexandru Muraru, accuses the PSD leader, Sorin Grindeanu, of spreading misinformation regarding the legislative projects necessary for meeting the milestones of the PNRR and of preparing the ground for blocking them in Parliament.
The liberal claims that several essential laws have already been submitted, some as early as 2023, and that the delays are also due to ministries led by PSD.
Muraru warns that the rejection or delay of these normative acts could cost Romania approximately 4.5 billion euros from the European funds related to the PNRR.
He states that the money is intended for investments in "highways and railways, for new hospitals and the modernization of schools, for investments in energy or insulated residential blocks."
