The designated Prime Minister, Adrian Veștea, announced on social media that he will meet with George Simion, the president of AUR, to discuss the current political situation in Romania. Veștea emphasizes the importance of dialogue and consensus in the context of the unprecedented political crisis the country is facing.
“I am a man of dialogue and consensus. Understanding the responsibility that falls on me to put an end to the political chaos, I will have a meeting with the president of AUR, George Simion. When it comes to Romania and resolving an unprecedented crisis, I take on an open dialogue with any political party voted by the Romanians. It is, I believe, mandatory if we want to have, in the true sense of the word, a Government of Romania,” Veștea published on Facebook.
He states that he takes on the responsibility to contribute to stabilizing the political situation and considers an open dialogue with all political parties that have received the vote of the Romanians to be essential. This meeting is seen as an important step towards the formation of the Veștea Government.
