AUR President George Simion accuses the existence of a political agreement under which the PSD would go on to form the government, while Luca Niculescu would be presented in the foreground to assume public responsibility for the difficult measures to come. The statement was made on Tuesday, in a clip published on Facebook, on the day the designated prime minister held consultations with the parties.
Simion claims that the plan had been prepared for approximately two months and that the new government would also be voted in by PNL parliamentarians. The AUR leader stated, without presenting evidence, that Ilie Bolojan had allegedly been pressured and intimidated into supporting the political formula.
“A major fix is being prepared,” George Simion declared, claiming that the PSD will govern but will try to avoid assuming full responsibility for the economic and political consequences of future decisions
The designated prime minister began consultations with the parliamentary parties on Thursday to form the new Government and secure the investiture vote. After the meeting with the PSD, discussions with the PNL and UDMR are scheduled.
