Democratic lawmakers, including Elizabeth Warren and Jan Schakowsky, accuse five major pharmaceutical companies of shifting profits to low-tax countries to avoid taxation in the U.S., despite huge revenues from drug sales. These companies, including Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, are criticized for influencing political decisions and for the "profit spinning" strategy allowed by the law signed by Donald Trump in 2017. The parliamentarians are asking for official answers by July 1.
