Donald Tusk is unhappy that Poland is not at the negotiating table for ending the war in Ukraine

The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that Poland will not respect any agreement resulting from the negotiations on the war in Ukraine, conducted in the 'E3' format (United Kingdom, France, and Germany), if his country is excluded from the negotiating table. Tusk made these statements during a press conference in Warsaw, expressing his dissatisfaction with Poland's exclusion from the discussions in London, where the British, French, and German leaders met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Polish Prime Minister emphasized that Poland is an essential actor in the regional security architecture and criticized the 'fragmentation' generated by smaller negotiation formats. Tusk had a discussion with Friedrich Merz, informing him that Poland will not accept agreements in which it does not participate, highlighting the importance of the country in discussions about the future of Ukraine and the region.
