Turkey reacted firmly to provocations from Iran after Tehran launched a second missile towards Turkish airspace.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that necessary warnings have been conveyed to Iran, emphasizing that provocative actions continue to take place. Erdogan insisted on the importance of maintaining neighborly and fraternal relations with Iran, which have lasted for a thousand years.

The missile was intercepted by NATO defense systems and fell on open ground, without causing casualties.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed that this is the second similar incident in five days, highlighting the increased tensions in the region.
