The United Kingdom has recorded the hottest May day in history, with records broken for the second consecutive day, according to information provided by Sky News.


The UK Met Office reported a provisional temperature of 35 °C at Heathrow Airport and Kew Gardens. This comes after yesterday, at Kew Bridge in London, maximums of 34.8 °C were recorded, exceeding the previous record of 32.8 °C.


It is important to note that this is the earliest date in the year that the UK has reached 35 °C, surpassing the previous record set on June 26, 1976.


High temperatures have been recorded in several locations, highlighting current climate trends.
