The Japanese government has announced a record number of 99,763 people aged 100 years or older, the majority of whom are women. This is a remarkable achievement, considering that Japan has the longest life expectancy in the world. A healthy diet, physical activity, and a low obesity rate contribute to longevity. Although the data is impressive, some studies question its accuracy, suggesting possible errors in the official records.
