The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, declared that Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine will intensify cooperation in infrastructure, energy, and security, including in preventing drone attacks, following a trilateral meeting in Chișinău with Maia Sandu and Volodymyr Zelensky.
Nicușor Dan emphasized the importance of discussions about joint infrastructure projects, such as highways that will connect the three countries. He also condemned the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and reaffirmed Romania's support for Ukraine.
In relation to Ukraine, the president announced a meeting of the Joint Committee for Minorities from the two countries, where education in the mother tongue will be discussed.
The meeting took place in the context of celebrating 35 years of independence of the Republic of Moldova.
