Sanae Takaichi, 65 years old and head of the Japanese government, addressed on social media the difficulties encountered in managing her time, mentioning that she usually sleeps between 0 and 3 hours a night. Recently, she managed to sleep five hours, which was a rarity for her.

Takaichi explained that her prime ministerial schedule is extremely demanding, leaving her little time for household tasks, such as cleaning or washing dishes. Criticized for her tendency to work continuously, Takaichi stated that she wants her ministers to work "like horses" and has abandoned the concept of balance between professional and personal life.

She was also criticized for calling a working session at 3:00 AM, but explained that it was an exception. Takaichi emphasized that she does not intend to consider long working hours as a virtue, but wants to do whatever is necessary for the good of Japan.
