The Serbian Minister of Information, Boris Bratina, stated that he will ban the broadcasting of Radio Free Europe in Serbia, as well as two other television stations, N1 and NovaS, which he considers to be agents of 'foreign intelligence services'. This decision comes amid street protests organized by the opposition against President Aleksandar Vucic, which have intensified following the tragedy in Novi Sad. Bratina described Radio Free Europe as 'the most dangerous anti-Serbian media' and emphasized that media institutions broadcasting from abroad should not exist. The opposition protests, which contest the results of the December legislative elections, continue to demand a repeat of the vote, alleging fraud. Vucic has dismissed these accusations, suggesting that the protests are orchestrated from abroad.
